I used this as a mask and as a cleanser. I would only use the cleanser at night to wash off the day. Very hydrating and a little goes a long way. As a mask, it’s even better. I left it on for about 20 min and used a warm cloth to wipe off. In the morning my face felt and looked brighter and smoother. Great product.

I was first introduced to this "magical" cleansing balm by a spa therapist on Costa Cruises (Elemis products are used onboard the ship). Both my Japanese friend and I have become instant converts! The texture of the balm feels like butter (but non greasy) and the fragrance is light and heavenly! We were taught by the therapist to apply a small amount onto our face dry and leave it on for 10 minutes. By doing so, not only does the balm remove all the makeup but it also serves as a hydration mask. After washing it away with warm water (I use cold water too, whichever is more convenient), my face feels absolutely clean, fragrant and hydrated. This is by far my favourite cleansing product!

This product removes makeup effectively and it smells wonderful. It does not dry my skin. Love it.
